Goldfish & Bay is proud to be part of the Alex Collective project, a groundbreaking development brought to life by a curated team of award-winning architects, designers, and landscapers. The City of Sydney competition-winning design is a collaborative effort between Ceerose, Andrew Burns Architecture, and Site Image Landscape Architects.

Founded in 1998, Ceerose is a dynamic and progressive organization dedicated to excellence and innovation. Renowned for their refined and innovative approach to heritage redevelopments, Ceerose has a remarkable track record of success. For Alex Collective, they enlisted the design talents of architect Andrew Burns to create a benchmark for Alexandria. This project tells a story, aiming to leave a lasting legacy for the suburb and future generations.

Alex Collective seamlessly links Alexandria across a century of change, delivering beautiful tailor-made homes with discerning owner-occupiers in mind. The design incorporates warehouse-inspired lofts, maisonettes, and penthouses, mirroring Alexandria’s industrial charm with sawtooth roofs and elegant brickwork. The interiors are warm and contemporary, with an industrial edge featuring raw textures and natural finishes that capture the spirit of the neighborhood.

Open and inviting, the homes embrace lush internal gardens that bring in light and air. Deep alfresco areas amplify the sense of space, while maisonettes enjoy private courtyards, voluminous lofts offer flowing balconies, and penthouses deliver view-filled terraces atop architecturally striking buildings.

Expansive Views
From sun-filled terraces, residents can gaze out over Alexandria’s intriguing streetscapes, the iconic Sydney CBD skyline, and the vast green expanse of Sydney Park. Many apartments feature wonderful flow-through designs with oversized front and rear balconies, enhancing the sense of spaciousness. Wide living rooms, some up to 7.8 meters, further contribute to the expansive feel.

Elegant Interiors
The interiors boast beautiful lines and artisan joinery, creating a tailored mood in the generous kitchens. Light and dark schemes feature concrete-inspired stone benchtops and American Oak floors paired with caviar-black or sandstone-toned joinery. Integrated black-glass ovens and a French door fridge-freezer add style and function, while abundant storage keeps all kitchen and pantry needs at hand.

Elegant monochrome bathrooms shape an indulgent space with luxurious stone-grey canvases accented by elegant black Parisi tapware. Frameless showers open up the rooms, featuring dual rain and hand-held showers perfect for refreshing and unwinding.

Sustainability Features
Alex Collective's homes embed important sustainability features. Lightwells maximize the environmental performance of the buildings by bringing in natural cross-flow ventilation and sunlight. The buildings target a 6-star average NatHERS rating with high-performance glazing, awnings, and screens to maintain optimal temperatures. Additionally, rainwater is reused, solar power is employed, and all homes include water and energy-efficient appliances and lighting.

Alex Collective is set to establish a benchmark for Alexandria, creating a place that will leave a lasting legacy in the suburb. These creative, artisan, and sustainable homes are designed to meet today’s environmental standards while offering unparalleled comfort and style.
