The project encompassed the construction of a new 14-storey wing within the confines of the Private Hospital site, alongside a comprehensive refurbishment and modernization of the existing hospital building.

Key components of the project included the establishment of a new Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD), improvements to the current Day Surgery Unit (DSU), and the addition of new operating theaters and recovery areas.

A notable aspect of the new tower's design was its fire safety measures, which incorporated a distinctive fire egress stair design featuring glazed elements. Structural fire engineering analysis was conducted to allow for the preservation of existing structural components.

Throughout the project, emphasis was placed on stakeholder engagement to ensure the diverse needs of each building owner were addressed. Additionally, efforts were made to ensure uninterrupted hospital operations for patients and community services throughout the construction process.
