The Mater Hospital Redevelopment includes constructing a new facility adjacent to the main hospital, featuring a 12-bed Palliative Care Unit with consulting rooms and a landscaped terrace, an expanded Day Surgery Unit with additional endoscopy suites, an underground car park extension, and a two-story building for consulting suites and executive offices. This redevelopment enables the Mater to provide holistic care, from birth to end-of-life, within its North Sydney campus.
