Graduating with Honours in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sydney, where he specialised in fluid dynamics, Joseph has contributed to a number of state-significant projects. These include the $534 million Tweed Valley Hospital, the combined $303 million expansion of the Silverwater and Cessnock Correctional Centres, and the $132 million Meadowbank Education and Employment Precinct. He has also led delivery on residential developments such as The Parade, West Ryde, and coordinated critical infrastructure upgrades across multiple police, court, and health facilities throughout NSW.

At Goldfish and Bay, Joseph leads the hydraulic and fire team, overseeing technical delivery, training, and design management. He is focused on developing practical, coordinated solutions while supporting the growth of his team through clear documentation practices, project ownership, and strong client relationships.

Fadi is the Founder and Managing Director of Goldfish and Bay, where he leads a growing team of engineers with a focus on quality, coordination, and practical design delivery. With more than 15 years in the industry, Fadi is known for his depth of knowledge in hydraulic, mechanical, and fire services engineering, and his ability to navigate complex projects with clarity and technical precision.

Graduating with First Class Honours in Mechanical Engineering from UTS and earning a place on the Dean’s List, Fadi went on to secure accreditations across NSW, QLD, and VIC. He is a registered certifier and chartered engineer, with a portfolio that spans large-scale residential, commercial, industrial, government, and infrastructure projects. His leadership is grounded in real construction experience and a deep respect for documentation accuracy and delivery timelines.

He sets the tone for the firm’s high technical standards and remains deeply involved in mentoring the team, shaping design strategy, and forging long-term relationships with clients. Joseph is a senior hydraulic engineer with over 9 years of experience delivering detailed hydraulic design and documentation across residential, commercial, industrial, and government projects. His work includes new builds, refurbishments, fit-outs, and infrastructure upgrades, with a focus on accurate documentation and code compliance.

He holds a Diploma in Hydraulic Services Design and a Certificate IV in Plumbing and Services, along with licensing and accreditation across NSW and QLD. Joseph is highly competent in AutoCAD and Revit and produces fully coordinated designs that integrate cleanly with other disciplines.

His practical understanding of construction requirements makes him a valuable contributor from design through to delivery. He works closely with builders, consultants, and clients to resolve issues early and maintain project momentum. Joseph is also a Green Star Accredited Professional and supports environmentally responsible design where applicable.
