The NSW Department of Planning has approved a major new chilled and fresh distribution centre at the Light Horse Interchange Business Hub in Eastern Creek. Spanning over 75,000 square metres, the facility combines fresh and chilled operations within a single warehouse, streamlining logistics and reducing the need for multiple sites. Advanced refrigeration systems will extend the shelf life of fresh produce and minimise food waste, addressing critical supply chain challenges.
With existing facilities in Minchinbury and Arndell Park reaching capacity, this development is essential for supporting long-term operations. Located within the Western Sydney Parklands and near key transport routes such as the M4 and M7, the hub offers unmatched connectivity for distribution activities across Sydney and beyond.
Goldfish & Bay is proud to contribute hydraulic engineering expertise to this project in collaboration with Doolan Plumbing. This centre reflects the future of industrial development in Western Sydney, balancing operational efficiency with sustainable design.
