West Village is a 17-storey residential development at 299 Kent Street in Sydney’s CBD. Designed by Candalepas Associates for CDMS, the project comprises a collection of full-floor residences and a three-level penthouse within a constrained urban site.

The development includes multiple basement levels accommodating parking, resident facilities and building services infrastructure. Goldfish & Bay provided hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, wet and dry fire engineering services, together with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis.

Working closely with the consultant team, our engineers delivered coordinated building services solutions that supported the architectural design and operational requirements of the development. Key considerations included service distribution throughout the tower, plant integration, basement servicing requirements and coordination within the building structure.

West Village demonstrates the successful integration of multidisciplinary building services within a high-density residential development in the heart of Sydney.
