WATERLOO | Four architects. Nine buildings. One site that has to work as a whole.

Coronation's Waterloo precinct brings 826 build to rent homes to Bourke and Young Streets, designed by SJB, Bates Smart, Curious Practice and Chenchow Little Architects.
Goldfish & Bay has worked on the project since the planning approval stage, across hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, fire, vertical transport and BIM.
In Coronation's Perspective: Waterloo series, William Miller from Bates Smart talks through how four studios came together around one shared vision, drawing on the area's industrial heritage and thinking carefully about how the buildings, public spaces and ground plane meet the surrounding streets.
It was great to hear the architects explain the thinking behind it, and we're looking forward to seeing the precinct come together.
