GLENWOOD HIGH SCHOOL | A growing school needs more than extra classrooms. It needs spaces built for how students learn today.

Delivered by School Infrastructure NSW for the NSW Department of Education, the Glenwood High School upgrade opened to students at the start of 2024, giving the school's growing community a new generation of learning spaces.
Designed by PTW Architects and built by Richard Crookes Constructions (RCC), the upgrade delivered a new three storey building with 48 technology rich classrooms and specialist science laboratories, a new performing arts centre, a visual arts hub and a staff hub, alongside refurbishment of existing buildings and new landscaped outdoor areas.
Because the work took place on an operating campus, our design began with investigating the school's existing services, so the new building could connect into them while classes carried on. The science laboratories added their own requirements, with dedicated trade waste drainage designed alongside the water, rainwater reuse and fire hydrant systems.
Goldfish & Bay is proud to have delivered the Hydraulic and Fire Hydrant engineering services for the project, and grateful to have played our part alongside a great project team in creating these new facilities for the Glenwood community.
