ION is Kurraba Group's purpose-built life sciences precinct in Waterloo, designed to support research, innovation and commercialisation across health and emerging technologies. Surrounded by leading health, research and academic institutions, the precinct will deliver more than 27,000 sqm of lab-enabled buildings, flexible workspace and high performance infrastructure, with completion targeted for early 2028.

Goldfish & Bay is delivering multidisciplinary building services engineering design for the 78–82 Wyndham Street component of the precinct. Laboratory buildings place heavy demands on power, water and drainage, and services need to be flexible enough to suit a range of future tenants.
