At Young and Bourke Streets in Waterloo, Coronation Property is advancing a build to rent precinct of more than 850 apartments across a 2.15 hectare site, approximately four kilometres from the Sydney CBD. Sites of this scale are now rare in inner city Sydney, and the precinct sits within the broader Green Square renewal area, supported by the new Waterloo Metro.
The proposal is structured as a multi-parcel development, with SJB, Bates Smart, Curious Practice and Chenchow Little Architects shaping a connected precinct of residential buildings, ground floor retail, pedestrian links and landscaped courtyards. Goldfish & Bay is part of the project team, providing hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, wet and dry fire, vertical transportation and BIM services across the staged development.
