The return of Carss Park Pool follows years of community advocacy after the original facility closed in 2019. Now under construction, its replacement will bring a place for swimming lessons, training and recreation back to the local area.

Goldfish & Bay is working with Encore Plumbing to provide hydraulic and wet fire engineering for the redevelopment, which is being delivered by ADCO Constructions and designed by TKD Architects. Our role includes coordinating services with the wider project team and preparing the design documentation to support construction.

The new facility will feature a heated outdoor 50 metre pool with eight lanes and a swim wall that allows it to operate as two 25 metre pools. A separate heated and shaded learn to swim pool will include accessible ramp entry, complemented by new change rooms, family facilities and shaded spectator seating. Together, these spaces will accommodate swimmers building confidence in the water alongside those training and swimming regularly.

Led by the NSW Office of Sport on behalf of Georges River Council, the project is scheduled to open in late 2027. We’re pleased to contribute our engineering expertise to a project driven by the community’s determination to bring its pool back.
