Earlier today, Goldfish & Bay’s Senior Electrical Engineer Monty Majeed attended the UDIA NSW Western Sydney Luncheon, held at The William Inglis Hotel, where NSW Building Commissioner James Sherrard shared insights on current industry reforms.
The discussion centred on streamlining council approvals, improving collaboration between developers and local authorities, and accelerating delivery across the built environment. With planning reform continuing to evolve, early engagement from consultants and engineers remains vital in supporting better project outcomes.
Thank you to Holdmark Property Group for the kind invitation and the opportunity to engage with a diverse mix of industry professionals. It was great engaging with fellow industry professionals and fostering valuable conversations around design, delivery, and shared challenges across the built environment.
Events like this help strengthen alignment between policy, consultancy, and construction—keeping the industry moving forward, together.
