A Night of Excellence: Highlights from the UDIA NSW & Urban Property Group Awards

We are excited to announce that Goldfish & Bay contributed three winning projects at the prestigious UDIA NSW & Urban Property Group AWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE 2024. These awards recognize the highest levels of achievement in residential, industrial, and commercial development, with an emphasis on technology, sustainability, environmental preservation, and advanced marketing.

Our team's involvement in these projects highlights our dedication to quality, innovation, and design. Here are some of the standout winners we proudly supported:

LIDCOMBE RISE was celebrated in the MASTERPLANNED COMMUNITIES Category. This innovative, mixed-tenure master-planned community in Sydney's West, is the largest project built under the NSW Government's $22 billion building program. Designed by Plus Architecture and developed by Billbergia Group, the project prioritizes equity of amenity across all tenure types. Located near Lidcombe rail station and town centre, it provides social, affordable, and private market housing. The project validates the vision of delivering equitable amenities and high-quality living environments in a financially sustainable manner.

SERAYA, developed by Astute Property and designed by Benson McCormack Architecture, was awarded in the MEDIUM DENSITY DEVELOPMENT Category. This highly modern boutique mid-rise apartment development in Bellevue Hill represents the definition of contemporary living, providing a rare affordable living option in one of Australia’s most exclusive suburbs. Overcoming a highly constrained site and significant weather delays required lateral thinking and smart design and construction solutions. We are delighted to have played a part in delivering this idyllic lifestyle development.

MASON & MAIN [stage one] received recognition in the MIXED-USE DEVELOPMENT Category. Led by Coronation Property and brought to life by global architects Woods Bagot, this vibrant mixed-use precinct in the heart of Merrylands comprises 434 Build-to-Rent apartments across three beautifully appointed buildings. It blends design-led apartments, resort-style amenities, and a vibrant "Eat Street" to form a new landmark destination.
