Yesterday, our Hydraulic team at Goldfish & Bay joined GRUNDFOS for a technical Lunch & Learn focused on pressure boosting and wastewater system design in contemporary buildings.

Hosted by Greig GrahamDwayne Hill and Mark Elia, the session offered a practical look at how intelligent pump technologies are being applied across commercial and residential settings. Discussions covered the management of pressure zones in high-rise buildings, the role of system sizing and redundancy, and how control logic influences performance and energy use.

The team explored real-world applications of the Hydro MPC-E, Multi-E and CMBE systems, and how their integration into mechanical and hydraulic systems can improve both efficiency and reliability. Insight was also shared around wastewater design and control strategies, including interface solutions like the LC231 and LC241 controllers—designed for compatibility with BMS environments.

The session wrapped with an update on AS4020 compliance and the evolving role of WaterMark certification, framing how regulatory expectations are shifting in step with smarter, more adaptable infrastructure.

What made this session valuable wasn’t just the product knowledge, but the way it tied specification to installation realities. At Goldfish & Bay, we see these sessions as a key part of design maturity, giving our engineers access to technologies, conversations and site-level understanding that sharpens both concept and delivery.

Thanks again to DwayneMarkGreig and the team at GRUNDFOS for hosting a highly relevant and thought-provoking session.
