Earlier this week, our mechanical team at Goldfish & Bay had the opportunity to sit down with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air-Conditioners Australia (MHIAA) for a deep dive into their VRF technologies and integrated system solutions.

The session focused on the KX VRF Series—a high-performance, modular HVAC platform that offers design flexibility, long pipe runs, and high operating efficiencies across a wide range of capacities. With an extensive lineup of indoor units and control options, the KX system meets the varied demands of commercial developments without compromising on energy performance or comfort.

We also explored their Air-to-Water heat pump solution (Q-ton) and the latest in BMS integration, with insights into BACnet and Modbus control interfaces, CFD analysis for optimised airflow design, and E-Sol, MHIAA’s proprietary system selection software.

These technologies allow for smarter HVAC design—supporting occupant comfort, future-focused sustainability targets, and practical installation solutions on complex sites.

At Goldfish & Bay, we see these sessions as more than just product demonstrations. LUNCH & LEARN events like this are embedded in our culture—they give our engineers direct access to evolving technologies, and they energise the team to continue pushing quality and performance in everything we design.

Thanks again to the Muhammad Suhaib Khan and Kevin Chillmaid at MHIAA for an engaging and informative session.
