Last week, our mechanical team joined Mitsubishi Electric for a technical Lunch & Learn focused on compact VRF system integration, specifically the PEFY-VMX bulkhead units.
Presented by George Fan and Ricky Chen, the session broke down how short-depth VRF units can offer meaningful benefits in space-constrained applications like bedrooms, apartments, and hotel suites. With just 450mm depth, factory-fitted filtration, and flexible rear or bottom air intake options, the VMX series is designed for real-world conditions, supporting clean detailing, efficient servicing, and seamless ceiling integration.
Our team explored how the system’s variable capacities (1.7kW–7.1kW) and 5–45Pa static pressure range allow for precise tuning across zones, while still maintaining airflow and acoustic control. It was also a chance to discuss the role of static pressure balancing, motor performance, and coordination with architectural and ceiling service layouts.
Sessions like this help close the gap between product and practice, translating specs into smarter choices across our active project pipeline.
Thanks again to George, Ricky, and the Mitsubishi Electric team for bringing sharp insight and practical perspective to the table.
