Before closing for the Christmas period, our team attended the UDIA NSW Christmas Luncheon 2025 in Sydney.
Held at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, the event brought together industry leaders and peers for an afternoon of reflection ahead of the year’s close. Beyond the formal program, it was also a valuable opportunity to reconnect with clients and industry colleagues.

The program included remarks from Robert Furolo, President of UDIA NSW, and Stuart Ayres, Chief Executive Officer of UDIA NSW, followed by a discussion with Mark Bouris AM.
Mark spoke about the current housing and lending landscape, touching on sustained investor participation, strong lending activity, and the increasing divide between those able to access the market and those facing barriers to entry. He also reflected on affordability pressures, the role of regulatory settings, and the importance of long-term thinking in an environment shaped by ongoing economic and policy pressures.
One theme that stood out was the importance of steady, disciplined growth in the current market. A timely reminder for businesses operating across development, infrastructure, and housing delivery as the industry continues to navigate complex market conditions.
As we prepare to return to the office next week, it felt like the right moment to reflect on the conversations that carried us into the year ahead. Thank you to UDIA NSW for bringing the industry together.
