Inspiring the Future: Oakhill College Innovation Hub Sets New Benchmark in Education Design

At Goldfish & Bay, we believe that great projects are more than just structures—they’re about creating spaces that inspire and support future generations. That’s why we are proud to have played a key role in developing the OAKHILL COLLEGE INNOVATION HUB. This advanced facility in Castle Hill represents a new chapter for Oakhill College, aligning with a vision that embraces technology, sustainability, and progressive learning environments.

Designed by BVN Architecture, the 12,000m² Innovation Hub creates a dynamic educational environment with modern science and computing labs, flexible workshops, and multipurpose learning spaces. Honoring the site's heritage as a former farm school, the design incorporates natural materials to foster collaboration and a connection with nature. FDC Construction & Fitout led the construction and fit-out, completing the project in just 56 weeks. The result is a facility that seamlessly blends functionality with sustainability, accommodating up to 900 students and enhancing their learning experience with an energy-efficient design based on Passive House principles.

By integrating advanced labs, versatile workshops, and sustainable design elements, the Innovation Hub sets a new standard for educational facilities and campus development.

In partnership with Doolan Plumbing Pty Ltd, we provided full hydraulic services to ensure that every aspect of the building's infrastructure supports its purpose: to inspire creativity and foster discovery among students.

We are proud to have contributed to this impactful project, which sets a new standard for campus development and educational facilities.
