We recently sat down with Simona for a one-on-one conversation about her journey into construction and the new chapter she’s stepping into at Goldfish & Bay.

Born and raised in Rome, she moved to Australia eight years ago with a clear ambition to build a future in project management. Since joining GFB last year, she has quietly become a key part of our project setup and compliance process, ensuring the design team is always working from the latest documentation and that nothing slips through the cracks.

In this video, we talk about perseverance, why mathematics still shapes the way she thinks, and what it really takes to build confidence in a new industry and a new country.

Recently, Simona also supported our accreditation audit, helping secure renewal through careful coordination and documentation control. It’s the kind of work that keeps projects moving, even if it’s not always visible.
