Transforming Lane Cove: The Ultimate Sport and Recreation Destination
Goldfish & Bay (GFB) is proud to be part of the LANE COVE SPORT AND RECREATION CENTRE, a development designed to enrich connections and green initiatives in Lane Cove. Set to become a vibrant hub for the Lower North Shore, this new complex will unite the community through sports, recreation, and shared experiences.
This project represents a fusion of creative concept and eco-conscious practices. Nestled within the stunning Gore Creek valley on Cameraygal Country, the design celebrates the unique bushland surroundings, sandstone escarpments, and interconnected waterways of Lane Cove. With a focus on creating a lasting legacy, the centre incorporates advanced solutions to reduce environmental impact while maximizing local resident's benefit. At the heart of this vision is a commitment to functionality and longevity, ensuring the facility’s relevance for decades to come.
As the hydraulic engineering design specialists, our contributions were essential to the project’s success. Collaborating closely with Hydra Build, our team developed water systems designed to support eco-friendly practices, including rainwater harvesting and resource-efficient designs. These solutions ensure the facility operates reliably across all spaces, from courts to shared amenities, while prioritizing environmental care.
By blending innovative engineering with purposeful design, Goldfish & Bay has helped create a facility that fosters connection and inspires progress. We are proud to have played a vital role in realizing this visionary project, working alongside Lane Cove Council, AJC Architects, ADCO Constructions, and Hydra Build.
