INSIGHTS, UPDATES & PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

NOT THE BIGGEST NAME IN ENGINEERING.JUST THE ONE YOU KEEP SEEING.
Earlier this year, we achieved an improved iCIRT rating of 4.5 stars. This reflected how our governance, technical oversight and project delivery systems had continued to strengthen since our initial 4-star rating. The iCIRT assessment is detailed and demanding. It requires organisations to demonstrate financial stability, operational systems and clear professional accountability in a transparent way. This is what gives the rating its credibility. HYDE METROPOLITAN | Rising 55 storeys above the southern edge of Hyde Park, the project is now moving further into its structural phase within one of the most constrained parts of Sydney’s CBD.
Developed by Deicorp and designed by Candalepas Associates, the landmark mixed use development brings together residential apartments, hotel accommodation, retail activation and commercial space within a dense inner city environment shaped by active streets, major transport infrastructure and complex underground conditions. At this scale, projects are defined as much by coordination as they are by architecture. Behind the structure now rising above Hyde Park sits years of det

FACTORY VISIT | Electrical team recently visited Vass Electrical Industries in Ingleburn for a factory tour and technical presentation focused on Electrobar busduct distribution systems.
The visit gave the team a detailed look into the manufacturing, testing, assembly, and deployment of high current busway infrastructure used across commercial, industrial, infrastructure, data centre, and high rise developments. Discussions covered fault ratings, voltage drop performance, modular riser configurations, take off systems, future expansion capability, and the growing role busduct solutions are playing across large scale electrical distribution networks. A major f

LUNCH & LEARN | Tercel Australia x ABB Furse
Yesterday, our Electrical team sat in on a Lunch & Learn with Tercel and ABB Furse, covering lightning protection, earthing, and surge protection. One of the key takeaways was that the risk does not stop at the visible lightning strike. The session stepped through how damage can occur from direct strikes, nearby strikes, strikes to connected services, and induced or switching surges travelling through power, data, and telecom systems. What also stood out was the need for a co

As projects begin to be recognised across the industry, it’s worth reflecting on what sits behind the finished outcome.
Across every project, engineering plays a central role in turning intent into something that can be built, coordinated, and delivered. It sits between design and construction, carrying decisions through to real conditions on site. You won’t see most of our work. But everything depends on it. Goldfish & Bay. EDMONDSON PARK PUBLIC SCHOOL is among the first in NSW to achieve a 6 Star Green Star rating, setting a clear benchmark for sustainable education infrastructure.
The project delivers a contemporary learning environment with flexible teaching spaces, shared facilities, and outdoor areas. Goldfish & Bay was engaged during the construction phase to deliver hydraulic design and site support, ensuring the design intent was carried through into a compliant outcome on site. Our scope included detailed construction documentation (LOD300), RFIs, inspections and certification, supported by ongoing design development as site conditions evolved.
