We’re excited to share that Goldfish & Bay has been engaged on ION, Waterloo, Sydney’s Centre of Life Sciences.

Developed by Kurraba Group, ION is a purpose built life sciences precinct designed to support advanced research, innovation, and commercialisation across health and emerging technologies.

Located in Waterloo and surrounded by Sydney’s leading health, research, and academic institutions, the precinct will deliver more than 27,000 sqm of specialist lab enabled buildings, flexible workspaces, and high performance infrastructure tailored to the needs of life sciences organisations.

With planning approvals secured and leasing now underway, the project is progressing toward delivery, with construction set to commence as it moves into its next phase and completion targeted for Q1 2028.

Our engineering team will be delivering multidisciplinary building services engineering design for the 78–82 Wyndham Street component of the precinct.

Proud to be contributing to a project that will help shape the future of Australia’s life sciences ecosystem.
