Last week we welcomed AQUATEC to our Petersham office for a Lunch and Learn with Leon Hansen and Jayden Seeley. The session was a chance to better understand how AQUATEC support the design and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure, and where their systems are most applicable across different project environments.
The presentation walked our team through several core product areas, including FRP and concrete pump stations, storage vessels, maintenance holes, pressure sewer systems, and odour control solutions. What stood out was the focus on end to end delivery, from design and modelling through to manufacturing, installation, commissioning and ongoing support. It gave our engineers a clearer sense of where each system type makes sense, the constraints they solve, and how long term performance is maintained.
We also discussed how pressure sewer networks can offer practical alternatives to gravity systems in sites with level challenges or sensitive surroundings. The conversation around control strategy and managing flows across a network sparked thoughtful discussion within the team, particularly in relation to early stage masterplanned developments and staged infrastructure delivery.
Sessions like this are valuable because they help our engineers stay aligned with current supply capability, authority expectations and emerging approaches that are being applied on real projects across the industry. They also strengthen collaboration, which is essential when delivering complex water and wastewater outcomes.
THANK YOU to Leon and Jayden for the time, clarity and open discussion, and to AQUATEC for sharing their experience with us. We look forward to continuing the conversation and exploring opportunities to work together in future.
