On the banks of the Parramatta River, the Putney Wharf Residences are set to transform one of Sydney’s historic foreshore sites into a new landmark for waterfront living.

Designed by SJB, the project reimagines the heritage-listed Halvorsen’s Boatshed while introducing contemporary architecture that sits comfortably within its riverfront setting. The masterplan weaves together restored heritage apartments, a collection of new terraces, and elegant residential buildings, all framed by landscaped public spaces from Dangar Barin Smith. At its heart, the development reconnects the community with over 300 metres of river frontage, complete with a 36-berth marina and waterfront dining venues.

Led by developers PERIFA and Abadeen, with Versatile Construction delivering the build, Putney Wharf brings together heritage, design, and modern amenity in a single precinct. It’s a project that both respects the character of place and looks firmly toward the future of Sydney’s waterfront.

Goldfish & Bay is proud to contribute hydraulic and wet fire engineering design in support of this ambitious vision.
