Goldfish & Bay is pleased to confirm our appointment on THE OSCAR, Meriton’s dual tower development in Brisbane.
Designed by DBI Architects, the project brings two towers rising to 79 and 70 storeys to a 5,485 square metre site opposite the Brisbane Botanic Gardens. Meriton’s vision includes more than 1,000 apartments across residential and short stay accommodation, a connected podium with retail, a link between Alice and Margaret Streets, and a landscaped recreation level on level 6 with pools, wellness spaces, and shared outdoor areas.
The development follows the consolidation of 107 apartments from the former Gardens complex and represents an investment of around 1.3 billion. With its height, scale, and position at the edge of the Botanic Gardens, THE OSCAR is set to become a notable addition to Brisbane’s skyline.
Our Team will be delivering hydraulic and electrical engineering design for the project. This appointment sits within our broader work with Meriton Group across Queensland, with CYPRESS PALMS among the major developments currently underway. We value this ongoing partnership and are genuinely excited to contribute our building services capability to a project of this scale and ambition.
